A puppy named Hannibal is finally receiving the care he desperately needs after enduring severe neglect. His condition was so dire that he was near death, suffering from extreme anemia.
Rescuer Viktor Larkhill explained the seriousness of the situation, saying, “I doubt he would have made it through the night. An emergency blood transfusion has enabled us to get him to our hospital. I promise that he will have everything he needs.”

Currently, Hannibal is receiving intensive care at the Viktor Larkhill hospital. The medical team is closely monitoring him to determine if his previous anemia has caused any lasting damage to his internal organs.
Fortunately, an ultrasound performed under anesthesia has indicated that Hannibal’s kidneys and liver are not affected. However, he may need another blood transfusion in the near future to fully recover.
