This was the case for Amber, a small dog whose life took a challenging turn after her owner passed away. Left alone in an empty house for months, Amber became distraught and apprehensive of people.
When Howl Of A Dog, a rescue organization, received a call about a dog living in the yard of a deserted house, they knew they had to step in.
However, Amber was too shy and scared to approach the rescuers. Despite this initial hurdle, the team from Howl Of A Dog was determined not to give up on Amber.
Their efforts paid off as, with patience and dedication, they managed to guide the 3-year-old dog into the house and safely rescue her.
Upon her rescue, Amber was found in poor condition, her fur infested with ticks, and she was suffering from an illness called Babesiosis.
Fortunately, Amber was now in caring hands, receiving the medical attention she required. Her story serves as a heartening reminder of the impact that devoted animal rescue groups can have.
