A ski instructor in Romania had a heart-pounding experience when a bear wandered onto the ski slope during a lesson.
The instructor, Mr. Fox, was skiing with his students when the bear appeared. It was a cold but beautiful day on the slopes, and Mr. Fox knew he needed to keep everyone safe.

When the bear first appeared, Mr. Fox immediately stopped skiing and calmly informed his students and other skiers behind him to stay still. The bear, a dark brown fur ball, seemed curious but hesitant as it slowly approached Mr. Fox.
To ensure the safety of his students, Mr. Fox directed the group away from the bear and led it toward the edge of the slope.
The bear sat down and watched the instructor with an almost playful curiosity, which made Mr. Fox smile despite the tension.
As the bear began moving toward the students, Mr. Fox led it away by skiing down the slope. Remarkably, the bear followed him, turning the encounter into a playful chase.
Mr. Fox kept calling the bear his “cute friend,” hoping to keep the mood light and calm for everyone else on the slope.
The chase continued down the slope, with the bear following Mr. Fox. Once they reached the bottom, the bear eventually lost interest and wandered into the woods.
Mr. Fox later told reporters that this wasn’t the first time he’d encountered a bear on the slopes; he wasn’t afraid—he was doing his job to keep others safe.
Although it was a thrilling experience, Mr. Fox handled it calmly and confidently, ensuring his students were unharmed and the bear was safely led away.
