Originally shared on Instagram by the sanctuary and widely circulated on Twitter, the video reveals the exuberant elephant enthusiastically leaping onto the cake, playfully preventing its grandmother from enjoying the treat.
The sanctuary offers a £110 service, allowing animal lovers to donate a customized cake made of rice, pumpkin, watermelon, bananas, and grapes in exchange for a personalized video.
However, this cake encounter took an unexpected turn, with the spirited elephant sitting on it humorously spitting out a half-chewed watermelon.
In this comical twist, the baby elephant, playfully dubbed a ‘menace’ online, continued its antics by circling the cake, slipping on the food, and transforming the well-prepared confection into a messy scene.
While the composed grandmother calmly continued eating, the mischievous calf struggled with its trunk, eventually burying its head in the cake and turning it into a brown sludge.
