Just two weeks into her recovery, Tipsy took her first tentative steps. At that time, the team was unaware of any underlying health issues.

As she approached three weeks old, it was clear she was eager to explore the world of solid food, despite it being a bit early. However, around this time, her caretakers noticed a concerning change.

Tipsy, who had previously walked normally, started struggling. Her back legs often dragged behind her, yet she still showed signs of feeling and slight movement in them.

To aid her recovery, passive range of motion exercises and physical therapy were initiated. These efforts continued until the team could consult a neurologist. X-rays revealed a spine injury and signs of a congenital defect.

Remarkably, despite this news, Tipsy began to show improvement through her therapy. Her determination to overcome her challenges impressed everyone who met her.

At seven weeks, her foster family marveled at her progress as Tipsy managed to walk and even enjoy a brief run.

At sixteen weeks, she could joyfully run around and play with other dogs, filling her days with laughter and friendship.
